Welcome to WJM Wrestling! Here are a few things you need to know about what we're doing here.
- WJM Wrestling is a promo-based e-fed for original characters. This means matches will be decided based on quality of promos and only original characters will be considered. For more on fantasy wrestling, check the wiki page.
- The federation is completely self-contained on this proboards site, however we also have a Twitter page. Announcements posted on Twitter will also be posted on this site so you will miss nothing if you choose not to follow WJM Wrestling on Twitter, however the feature is there if you wish.
- Sign-up couldn't be simpler. Just go to the sign-up board, copy and paste the sign-up sheet into a new topic, fill it in with your information and post it. There is no need to await confirmation, however if there is a problem with your bio you will be informed.
- As opposed to the traditional booking system which is commonplace (and in my opinion a little stale) in most e-feds (normal show, normal show, normal show, PPV etc), WJM does something slightly different. All shows are given the same importance and are booked around the Main Event (which will be the high class match of the show), although there will be several Super Shows a year (booked around a special event that will take place). This offers a lot more flexibility in booking, and should make for a better all-round experience.
- Shows will be on the whole every two weeks and posted on Sundays. Roleplay deadlines will be midweek to give the handler a week and a half to roleplay and the writer 3-4 days to write the match.
- There are two "active" Championships in WJM Wrestling: The WJM World Championship and the WJM Television Championship. In additition to this, there will be a number of one-off events that will be competed for every year.
- Roleplays will be judged on quality and presentation. Roleplays will be judged by staff members and all decisions are final.
- If you do not roleplay for a match, you the user will not be in anyway punished or disciplined by WJM Wrestling, however your character may get "squashed" or your match may be pulled. If you know in advance that you won't be able to roleplay for an event, please let a member of staff know as soon as possible.
- WJM Wrestling is to be built on mutual respect. We are all here to have fun and negative and/or hurtful comments do people no favours. Staff members reserve the right to move/remove/censor any comment without warning.
- If you see anything you do not like (regarding a match result, a booking or another user's conduct) please do not publically post on it and instead use the private messaging system.
- Feel free to PM me at any point if you have any questions regarding the federation.
- Have fun and get involved!
